I was reading when it started shaking. “What the hell was that?” I wondered. I clicked on the radio and they said, “Earthquake!” I didn’t know if I should run or what, and remembered, “I can’t run, guess I stay here and go to waste. Poor me, poor me, pore me another drink.” Glad you’re okay.

It was a strong one–best thing to do is stay put-stay calm and assess the situation. Thanks for the humor pour me one too!!No cell phone service here.

I just thought about you when I saw on TV about the earthquake.
I am very concern about you and I am glad you are okay and safe.
I think it was very scary!
Big hug to you.

Thanks Sonia. Luckily I was not alone and knew what was happening. No damage-no injuries just alot of shaking. My chair moved first–then my tower which holds different appliances rocked back and forth. The tv was stable. I have not felt any aftershocks in NYC but there were a few 2.5 in DC area.
